Student Profile
The
Student Profile gives direction to the independent
school search. The Profile is developed through a process
of personal reflection, inquiry and goal setting for the
purpose of identifying the schools that offer the student
the best opportunity for self-discovery and maximizing their
potential. The key steps for developing the Profile include
the Preliminary Assessment and School Matching.
The
Preliminary Assessment is an important opportunity to review
and evaluate the student's academic background, extracurricular
activities, and interests. Through discussions and exploration,
the student begins to make a personal connection to what
each school offers. This Assessment results in a preliminary
list of prospective schools.
Building
on the Preliminary Assessment, School Matching is the next
step towards confirming the school list, developing a strategic
plan, and creating a personalized admissions application
package.
